Obituary
Claudia Goodman of Bellevue, Washington passed peacefully into heaven on April 25th. She was born on June 23, 1935 in Seattle, Washington to Helmer and Lucille Rovig. Claudia graduated from West Seattle High School and the University of Washington going on to be a substitute teacher. She married Robert D Goodman on December 20, 1958 and together they raised three children, Wendy, Holly, and Brian.
She enjoyed reading, golfing, watercolor painting, spending time with her family and their many orange tabby cats over the years.
Claudia is survived by her husband, Robert, her sister Vallyn Henderson (Robert), her daughter Wendy Goodman, her son Brian Goodman (Nancy), son-in-law Glynn Hewitt; six grandchildren: Megan Keller, Griffin Keller (Minako), Tanner Hewitt, Torey Hewitt, Conner Goodman, and Kendall Goodman; one great-granddaughter, Hikari Keller; and seven nieces and nephews: Kari Cutbirth, Ken Best, Lynly Platz, Dean Henderson, Cindy Nance, Cheri Kirschner and Cliff Goodman.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Holly Hewitt, her parents, her sister Betty Best and brother-in-law Richard Best; her in-laws Joseph and Ann Goodman; her brothers-in-law: Joseph, Eugene, and William Goodman and sister-in-law Selma.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th at 12pm in the chapel at Bonney Watson Washington Memorial and will be officiated by Pastor Tom Colby .
